Two partners Tahir Majeed and Khalid Javed established the Blue Chilli Kitchen in February 2005 in the city of Chester.
Prior to its inception it was realised that Chester broadly lacked authentic fast food Indian cuisine, set in a contemporary environment.
So the Blue Chilli Kitchen was born, and has done extremely well up to the present day, making Indian curries using fresh and mouth-watering Punjabi spices.
Khalid and Tahir, the two chefs, have a wealth of experience and knowledge in this field having worked for many years in Indian restaurants.
Khalid was the head chef at the Manchester based Shere Khan group of restaurants before realising his dream. Tahir started off working several years in Scotland before heading back south to work at the Shere Khan Restaurant in Chester before establishing his present business. |
